Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor
April Lowe Moseley is a Myrtle Beach based artist who paints in oil, acrylic and watercolor. April currently paints coastal artwork-seascapes, Carolina landscapes, coastal birds and flowers, local wildlife, etc. While predominately a representational painter, she sometimes paints very colorful, more impressionistic paintings. While many would consider her a self-taught artist, she did take an oil painting class at The Honolulu Academy of Art, a drawing class from Woodmere Art Museum in Philadelphia and has taken palette knife oil painting classes from George Eguchi in Honolulu. She has also studied countless painting videos and books to help improve her painting skills.
April has sold paintings at The Honolulu Zoo Fence Art Show in Waikiki, at Cottage Crafters in Langhorne, PA, at Austin’s Gallery in Coronado, CA, at Seacoast Artists Gallery in Myrtle Beach, on Ebay, on Etsy, and via her website. April is a member of Seacoast Artists Guild, Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild, National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society, and Wildlife Artists of the Carolinas.
