Oil Painter
George has always loved to draw. Starting out as early as he could walk, he began drawing animals and dinosaurs. He soon stepped away from drawing dinosaurs while still maintaining a strong interest in animals and the natural world.
George realized he had a talent for painting things moving and a strong understanding of anatomy as evident from his figure drawing and painting classes at East Carolina University. Painting outside scenes showing natural light in landscapes and seascapes further sparked his interest after college. Nature, animals, anatomy, motion, and natural light have allowed him to become the artist he is today.
