Watercolor Artist
It took Buffy almost six decades to pick up a paintbrush. Once she started, she couldn’t get enough. Painting still sparks joy and brings her back to center. The local art community is where she finally feels at home.
Buffy is a member of Wilmington Art Association, Wildlife Artists of the Carolinas, and the Watercolor Society of North Carolina. One of her paintings was selected for the “2024 Southport Banner Project”. Her work has been accepted to the “29th Arts North International 2024” (Hopkins, MN). “Water V. Oil: A National Juried Exhibition of Watercolor and Oil Paintings” (Norfolk, VA), and “Art Natura” (Limner Art Gallery/Hudson, NY).
